We recommend that all DriveWorks Administrators complete this 5-day training program.
Prerequisites
To ensure a consistent learning experience for all students, we have established the following prerequisites for the training course.
- SolidWorks Essentials: Parts & Assemblies
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Excel
- Thorough understanding of own company’s product
- Familiarity with computer programming or logic, preferably visual basic

Days 1-3
- Introduction to DriveWorks Functionality/Basic Skills using Dice example (Essentials)
- Pre-requisites & Installation
- SolidWorks Modeling Techniques within the DriveWorks environment
- Project Set Up
- Using the DriveWorks Model Wizard
- Working with Data & Look Ups
- Form/User Interface Design
- DriveWorks Rules Wizard
- Output Rules
- Output Data

- Implementation Guidelines
Days 4-5
- During the last 2 days of the training, we encourage students to work on capturing the rules from their own models so that they can quickly and effectively implement them within DriveWorks.
- We will also introduce the Drawing View Admin Wizard and look at incorporating some Advanced Techniques
