The focus of this course is on the fundamental skills and concepts central to the successful use of SolidWorks PDM Professional.

The intended audience for this course is anyone who will setup and/or administer SolidWorks PDM Professional.

** Our PDM courses use CATI LIVE. CATI LIVE is an online virtual computer that you will access after the lecture period each day to complete exercises. These exercises can be done at any time between lecture times each day. Instructions will be given at the beginning of class on how to access and use CATI LIVE. You will want to set aside roughly 4 additional hours for full completion of exercises per day.

Students will have the fundamental skills and understand the concepts central to the successful use of SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional. This includes maintaining users, security, workflow and attribute configuration.

  • Students attending this course are expected to have the following:
  • • Basic experience with SolidWorks PDM.
  • • Knowledge of SolidWorks PDM file structure and referencing.
  • • Experience with the Windows™ operating system.
